Forging a Family
You’ve adopted a runaway Chinese immigrant girl and your apartment building was just destroyed by the mafia. You’re homeless, in debt, and being stalked by a crazed ex-salaryman.
It’s at times like this that even the most solitary of lone wolves turns to others for support, and when those others turn out to be a group of mysterious, captivating women, similarly alone in life, the stage is set for a romantic drama of epic proportions.
Will you choose to help Matsuri, the runaway ‘youngest daughter’ of the family, and give her the sense of being needed that she desperately craves?
Or will you focus on Chunhua, the perpetually optimistic Chinese girl haunted by Triad connections and a need to find her long-lost mother?
Perhaps your former lover Jun, withdrawn and emotionless, will rekindle your flame and you’ll learn together that your first love wasn’t a lie after all.

While the game has been officially released, with a project of this size there are inevitably a few rough edges left to be polished, and work is ongoing at G-Collections to brush up any remaining discrepancies in the script for a text revision patch that will be released shortly via the official site as well as the product entry pages of online shops that carry the game, and other interested websites. More details on the patch will be available in the coming days.
Download release is planned for Family Project within the next few weeks. Due to release during the hight of the North American convention season our technical staff has postponed the download release temporarily, but it should be available by the beginning of August. As always, check back here for the latest details on the release.
East Coast ‘Famipro’ Release Party!
Okay, it’s not really a party. But stop by dealer booth 432 at Otakon this weekend and you can be among the first to pick up a copy of this great game – JAST USA president Peter Payne will be there with as many copies as he can carry, so stop by and say hi! We’re also angling to sit in on a panel some time over the weekend, but there’s nothing new to report on that quite yet – we’ll be posting here with the latest details when the time and place has been determined.
