We have no plans to replace V-Mate on the games that used to require it, so this patch effectively removes the DRM restrictions from those games. You&#039;ll still need your download code to obtain the game and patch from our server and when requesting customer support.

Products using the Software Defender system will continue to require a one-time activation (both disc and download versions), following which an internet connection is not required to play the games. If a connection is present the game will check to make sure your code hasn&#039;t been compromised, but when you&#039;re entirely offline the game will load and run without a problem.</description>
